INTERNATIONAL ORGAN, HARPSICHORD AND EARLY MUSIC ACADEMY

Alte Vie Barocche in Val di Zoldo

8th – 14th JULY 2019

Music Master
Andrea MARCON

Amidst the Dolomites Mountains, in an area surrounded by enchanting villages such as the Val di Zoldo, lies Fornesighe, a little mountain gathering of houses, where time has stopped. It is here that the Fondazione Cariverona, Antiqua Vox e the Circolo Culturale Bellunese offer a new musical initiative, to be paired up with the Festival “Arte e Musica tra Pelmo e Civetta”. Andrea Marcon will make available to all its participants his 40 years of experience as an organist, harpsichordist and conductor. Le Alte Vie Barocche in Val di Zoldo will be dedicated to a repertoire of the 17th and 18th century, with a new formula for instrumentalists, singers, and ensembles. The Master will be free of charge and weekly schedules will be based on 6 hour- lessons per day, with the objective of discovering what is often hidden and secretive in antique scores. Each day will be completed with ad lib. performances, for all participants. This opportunity offers a new approach to listening and dialogue, while immersed in the beauty of the Dolomites Mountains and the evocative silence of the Val di Zoldo.
